It usually use the electro galvanized wire or hot-dip galvanized wire(also called low carbon steel wire) to manufacture the Chain Link Mesh. About knuckles and barbs: Fence fabric is available two ways: with knuckles on both ends. with knuckles on one end and barbs on the other end. (two barbs are formed when the chain link is twisted at one end, see illustration).
